No template look: custom design in your real brand colours

Revivra team ·

A modernised website should look like your company and not like the hundredth variation of the same template. This week brings two changes: Revivra now designs every website individually and reliably picks up the real colours of your brand.

Art director instead of template

Until now, the design followed fixed layout patterns into which your content was placed. Revivra now designs every website like an art director: structure, emphasis and imagery follow your content. A carpentry workshop with large project photos gets a different look from a trust and accounting firm that mainly needs to convey confidence and clarity.

There is also a design memory: when you regenerate a website, Revivra builds on the earlier design decisions instead of starting from zero every time.

Your real brand colours

A redesign may be modern, but your customers should still recognise you. That takes your brand colours. Until now, Revivra read the colours of a website without its stylesheets and therefore often ended up with neutral default colours.

Revivra now loads your existing website with all its stylesheets, fonts and scripts, the way a browser displays it, and reads the colours actually in use. Older websites whose colours are still defined directly in tables are recognised as well.

Re-reading colours

In the questionnaire you see the detected colour palette before your website is created. Projects that were analysed before this update can get their correct colours with the new “Re-analyze” button: Revivra fetches your website again and updates the palette. You do not have to start over.
